NKU Elderhostel

Program Facilities

NKU Elderhostels are generally held at the Comfort Inn in Erlanger, KY, just 3 miles from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport and less than 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Elderhostelers are responsible for their own travel to the motel; but all lodging, meals, classes and field trips are included in the program. NKU Elderhostel's tuition for a Sunday-through-Friday Elderhostel averages $599.

The typical NKU Elderhostel program begins on Sunday and ends on Friday after lunch. The standard format includes one, two, or three academic courses that total 22.5 hours of education, as well as three planned and optional extracurricular activities. No prior academic experience is needed to attend and enjoy an Elderhostel program.

Elderhostelers must register through Boston. Local public libraries carry Discover America: U.S. & Canada Program, International Program, and Adventures Afloat catalogs. For more information, potential Elderhostelers can ask to be included on the mailing list for free catalogs by contacting:
