NKU Basketball Exhibition
The men’s and women’s basketball
teams will play exhibition games at the
NKU Guitar Orchestra and Ensemble
Friday, November 2, 8 p.m., Greaves Concert Hall
Under the direction of guitarist/lutist Christopher Wilke, the NKU guitars will present a dynamic and eclectic program, including Haydn’s Philosopher Symphony No. 22, (arranged for guitar orchestra by Wilke), American composer Terry Riley’s In C, duos by Ernst Krenek, Spanish baroque pieces by Santiago de Murcia, and other works. Tickets $5 ($3 students).

The “Rimers of Eldritch”, Lanford Wilson’s award-winning story of false morality in a small mid-western town, examines the turmoil resulting from rape, lies and murder in the tiny, decaying Bible belt community of Eldritch through the attitudes and relationships of its residents, whose desperation pushes them to the limits of religious sanctimony and intolerance. Audience Advisory: The Rimers of Eldritch contains some mature language and themes; it is recommended for ages high school and up.

GRE Test Preparation - Intensive Weekend

Graduate Record Examination General Test measures skills in verbal reasoning,
quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing. Each section
of the GRE has different types of questions and formats designed to accurately
measure your knowledge and skill as an indicator of potential for success in
graduate school. This intensive weekend review course taught by content
specialists will help you become familiar with the test, practice the types of
questions appearing on the test, and improve your chances of achieving your
goal score. One day is devoted to the verbal sections, and one day addresses

comprehensive review of the math, English, science and reading sections of the
ACT can help you build confidence and raise your scores. You will have the
opportunity to complete diagnostic sample tests to measure your progress, and
learn test-taking tips and strategies that can help you perform more quickly
and comfortably on test day. The class is recommended for first-time test
takers as well as those who are retaking the test to achieve a specific goal
