Norse Kids Participation Policies
Parent/Guardian Consent
Registering and allowing participation in Norse Kids classes assumes parent/guardian understanding and acceptance of Norse Kids Participation Policies.
Registration and Fee Payments
- Registration is available by mail, telephone (859-572-5600) or web
at
nkuconnections.nku.edu. To register
by mail, complete the
registration form in its entirety and issue payment with check, money order or Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card.
- Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Community Connections does not maintain a waiting list.
- You will receive written confirmation of your registration status within four business days.
- Material fees payable to the instructor must be paid, in cash and in full, at the first session.
Refunds & Credits
- A registration cancellation notice of at least three business days prior to the start of the course must be given to receive either a refund by check or an in-house credit for the full amount paid. Should a participant cancel registration less than 3 business days prior to the program, no refund will be issued. Special deadlines apply for specific programs as noted in NKU Connections and other promotional materials.
- Community Connections reserves the right to cancel any program lacking sufficient enrollment. If Community Connections cancels a program, a refund by check or an in-house credit for the full amount paid will be issued.
- We cannot accept responsibility for cancellations made via email or voicemail. All cancellations should be made to a live person.
- In-house credit balances may be transferred to another person.
- Attendance is required for the first session of a multi-session class. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or pro-rated for absences.
Discounts Community Connections attempts to keep Norse Kids classes affordable and accessible. There are no discounts available on Norse Kids classes.

Please note: Students must be picked up promptly at the end of class each day. There will be no after-class child care or escort service available.
- Norse Kids staff cannot administer or distribute any kind of medication.
